Volunteering
Volunteers are the heart of West Northumberland Food Bank, enabling us to provide essential support to people across our community. They bring bringing compassion, energy, and practical support to those in need. From volunteer support workers who support the people who contact us, logistics volunteers who help sort and pack the food donations, to our drivers who complete our supermarket collections and deliver food to those most in need, each volunteer role plays a vital part in our work. Whether you’re keen to work directly with those we support, manage food and supply logistics, or lend a hand behind the scenes, we have a variety of roles to suit different skills and interests.
