Treasurer
This crucial role involves overseeing our financial health, ensuring transparency, and supporting our mission to serve the community. The ideal candidate will be a finance professional, ideally with a solid understanding of charity finance. We need someone who is hands-on and willing to play an active role in areas such as forecasting, setting budgets, and liaising with the independent examiner. As a clear communicator with the ability to balance risk and opportunity, you'll provide essential support and advice as challenges arise, as they invariably do within a small charity.

Helpline Volunteers
Our helpline is often the first step for people seeking support, and we need compassionate volunteers to help us answer those calls. As the first point of contact, our call handlers provide a listening ear to those in need and are key in helping to set up deliveries, for food and household essentials. Our helpline is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm, so if you can spare a few hours a week we'd love to hear from you.
